All Free 3GP Video Converter is actually a multi-format conversion tool that not only converts video files between some of the most popular codecs (such as AVI, MPEG, FLV, or MP4), but is also capable of extracting the audio stream of your videos and save it as a WAV, MP3, or WMA file. Its wizard-like interface makes it a useful tool for all types of users.
The program’s interface not only guides you through the entire video conversion or audio extraction process, but also offers you a wide choice of output profiles (specific to each of the output formats selected) to speed up the set-up of the re-encoding routines. On the input side, the program boasts of supporting more than 250 different formats, a number that certainly covers nearly all known video formats. The array of output codecs supported, though smaller in size, is neatly divided into three main categories – video, devices, and audio. The list of devices, though not exhaustive, includes all the usual suspects – iPod and iPhone, PSP, BlackBerry, and two generic ones, MobilePhone and Android. Personally, I find these two categories a bit too broad to be really useful, especially for those users who are not too familiar with the video/audio codecs supported by their mobile phone.
Each of these formats and categories comes with a small set of easy-to-use output profiles. Together with some more technical details, these presets include labels such as “Highest Quality”, “Economy Quality”, or “Balanced Quality” to help all users to make the right choice. (Regrettably, none of these profiles supports further customization from the user’s side.) Thus, the entire conversion process is as simple as ABC – A, select your input files; B, choose an output preset, and C, launch the batch encoding process. Finally, and thanks to its new CUDA/DXVA decoder, All Free 3GP Video Converter can encode a long list of files in almost no time at all.
